KINGSBURY INFO

The world is full of heroes; people born with supernatural abilities ranging from fire conjuration to complete transformations into fearsome beasts. Alongside them stand ordinary humans who choose the mantle of hero anyway: vigilantes with no powers, armed only with clever tricks, training, and an apparent lack of self preservation. But where heroes rise, villains inevitably follow, and with them come bitter territory wars, shattered cities, and chaos that spills into every corner of society. In the endless struggle between power and ambition, the world itself has become the battlefield.

→ KINGSBURY
Kingsbury, New York. Massive, crowded, and always chaotic, a place where power both supernatural and political decides who thrives and who ends up dead in a ditch. Skyscrapers loom over old neighborhoods, and the streets are constantly caught between heroes, villains, and the people just trying to live their lives.

At the center of Kingsbury is Platinum Corp, a megacorporation with its hands in nearly every industry. They sell security, technology, medicine, and everything in between. To Platinum Corp, everything is a business —including heroism. They fund, train, and brand their own team of heroes, turning public safety into a product and battles into advertisements. In Kingsbury, saving lives can come with a contract, if you're good enough to be noticed... and want to be.

→ FACTIONS

Platinum Corp – A megacorporation that treats heroism like a product. They own a licensed team of corporate heroes, complete with branding, contracts, and media deals. Protecting the city is secondary to protecting profits.

The Giovanni Family – A powerful mafia family with deep roots in Kingsbury. They control many businesses, docks, and entire neighborhoods through influence, money, and intimidation.

The Homerun Heroes – A gang of former high school stars who never moved on. They wear old jerseys, varsity jackets, and cheer uniforms, styling themselves like jocks and cheerleaders. Loud, reckless, and obsessed with "glory days."

The Sidewalk Saints – A group of low level vigilantes who operate out of churches, shelters, and community centers. Mostly normal people with improvised gear, they protect their streets because no one else will.

The Neon Kings – A flashy street gang that uses glowing tech, body paint, and light based weapons. They care more about looking impressive than being effective.

The Freelancers – Independent heroes and villains for hire. Modern mercenaries with no loyalties and often questionable morality.
